We invite you to a magical experience under the stars: a snowshoeing route in the heart of the Baciver Valley, one of the purest and most peaceful landscapes in the Aran Valley, recognized as a Starlight Destination and Reserve for the exceptional quality of its night sky.
Walk quietly through snowy forests, hear the snow crunch beneath your feet, and lift your gaze to discover constellations, planets and other celestial phenomena visible in winter, guided by an expert. You’ll not only admire the sky, but also learn about its connection with Pyrenean culture and its influence on the orientation of ancient mountain communities.
Along the route you’ll connect with astronomy from a cultural and environmental perspective and understand how light pollution alters nocturnal ecosystems.
An activity to disconnect from the daily rhythm and reconnect with nature, the night and the universe. Suitable for all from 12 years old, no previous experience is needed — just the desire to live a special and different night.

What to Bring
- Warm waterproof layered clothing (thermal shirt, mid layer, shell jacket)
- Mountain boots or suitable snow footwear
- Gloves and hat

Accessibility: The meeting point is at Orri Parking (1,800 m altitude). The road is paved and normally accessible without difficulty, but in case of snow or winter conditions, snow tires, chains or a 4×4 vehicle are essential for safe access. There is free parking at Orri where you can leave your car during the activity.
