4 Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a voucher by email. If you don't receive it, please check your Spam or Junk folder

If you're searching for a truly unforgettable mountain adventure, look no further than the Montarto hike. Towering above the Val d’Aran skyline, this legendary Pyrenean peak offers a demanding yet deeply rewarding full-day trekking experience.

Starting from the charming village of Arties, the route ascends through alpine landscapes to the breathtaking summit, where panoramic views stretch across the majestic Pyrenees. The silhouette of Montarto is a symbol of the region—and reaching its summit is an accomplishment that few forget.

This is not just a hike—it’s a high-mountain journey.

Elevation Gain: +1,200 m / -1,400 m
Distance: 9 km
Duration: ~8 hours
Group Size: 4–8 people
Minimum Age: 14 years
Requirements: Good physical condition and mountain experience

What to Bring:

3-layer clothing system, thermal base, windbreaker, waterproof jacket, trekking pants, hiking boots, poles, sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, snacks, 20L backpack

Pets:

1 dog per group allowed, with prior notice and group approval

CANCELLATIONS

Reservations for up to 5 people:

If you cancel more than 72 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 72 hours before the activity: 50% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 48 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you don't show up on the day of the activity: no refund will be available.

Reservations for 6 people or more:

Date changes are not allowed.
If you cancel less than 20 days before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you cancel less than 30 days before the activity: 75% of the reservation price will be charged.

What happens if it snows, rains, or the weather is bad?

We conduct our activities regardless of the weather, such as rain or snow, except in extreme case.
If the provider cancels the activity due to safety conditions, an alternative date or a refund will be offered.

What if I or a companion falls ill on the day of the activity?

If you become ill on the day of the activity, you will need a medical certificate to justify the non-completion of the activity.
With the medical certificate, we can reschedule your activity or provide a refund.
If you are part of a group and fall ill, the refund only applies to you. If your companion is a minor, they will also be included in the refund.
The rest of the group can continue to enjoy the activity as planned.
