Via Ferrata of Arties – The Most Adrenaline-Packed Climb in Val d'Aran

Don’t let its short length fool you—Arties is one of the most demanding via ferratas in the region. With steep overhangs, two Tibetan bridges, two zip lines, and an exclusive aerial pendulum, it promises nonstop excitement!

This route blends the raw challenge of natural rock holds with the structure of a ferrata. You’ll climb, swing, zip, and cross through unforgettable terrain, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Pyrenees.

For True Adventurers Aged 16+

Perfect for thrill-seekers and experienced climbers, this high-difficulty route (K4+) offers 330 meters of technical climbing with a 100-meter elevation gain.

Duration: 2.5h on route | Half-day total experience
Access: 15-min hike in, 25-min descent
Minimum Age: 16 years
Group Minimum: 4 people
Start time may vary based on conditions and season

Trekking shoes, warm layers + windbreaker, long pants recommended, sunscreen, water, sunglasses with straps, small backpack.

✅ Bookings of up to 5 people

❌ Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance: 100% refund.
❌Cancellations made between 72 and 48 hours: 50% refund.
❌Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance: No refund (100% non-refundable).
🚫 No-show on the day of the activity: No refund available.

✅ Bookings of 6 or more people (groups)

🔄 Date changes are not allowed once the booking is confirmed.
❌ Cancellations less than 30 days in advance: 75% of the amount will be withheld.
❌ Cancellations less than 20 days in advance: 100% of the booking will be charged.

🌦️ What happens in case of rain or bad weather?

Activities are held regardless of weather (rain, snow...), except in extreme safety-risk situations such as avalanche risk or severe weather.

If the provider cancels for safety reasons, a new date or a full refund will be offered.

🤒 What if you or a companion falls ill?

If you or a companion become ill on the day of the activity, an official medical certificate will be required.

With the certificate, we’ll offer to reschedule or provide a refund.

In group bookings, only the affected person (and any minor in their care) will be eligible for a refund. The rest of the group can proceed with the activity as planned.
