What do I need to drive a buggy?
To drive, you must be at least 25 years old and hold a valid category B driving licence (car) with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Can driving be shared?
Yes, you can switch drivers during the excursion at some of the stops.
Is previous experience required?
No. It is not necessary to have driven a buggy before. Before starting the activity, the guide will give a full briefing with safety instructions and basic driving techniques. Buggies are easy to handle and have power steering.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age to participate as a passenger is 6 years old. For younger children, you can contact us and we will assess possible options.
Is it a safe activity?
Yes. The activity is guided by qualified professionals and carried out with approved vehicles. As with any activity involving a moving vehicle in a natural environment, there are inherent risks, but these are minimized by following the guide’s instructions at all times.
Are there any medical restrictions?
Not recommended for pregnant women or for people with severe vertigo, injuries, or serious medical conditions, especially back problems. If in doubt, we recommend contacting us before booking.
What type of terrain is covered?
The routes combine paved roads, unpaved tracks, and mountain sections with ravines, offering a varied experience.
What time does the activity take place?
We offer different time slots depending on the selected route. You can choose your preferred time directly in the calendar when booking.
How long is the excursion?
It depends on the route. There are 3 options: 1 hour (approx. 25 km), 2 hours (approx. 40 km), 3 hours (approx. 80 km)
Will I be driving the whole time?
No. During the route, there are stops to enjoy the scenery, take photos, rest, and explore the surroundings.
If we are an odd number (3 or 5 people), how do we organize?
If you are 3, you can book a 4-seater buggy. If you are 5, you can contact us to consider adding a seat in the guide’s buggy (€30). Please note that this person will not be able to drive.
Can I go alone or do I need a group?
You can come on your own without any problem. The price is per vehicle (2- or 4-seater buggy), regardless of the number of occupants.
How can I book?
You can book online by selecting the date, time, and number of buggies. Once payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation and a voucher that you must present on the day of the activity at the Arties base (on your phone or printed).
Is it necessary to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking as early as possible, as availability is limited, especially during high season and the summer months.
Where do the routes start?
All routes start from Arties. The exact meeting point will be provided in your booking voucher.
What should I bring on the day of the activity?
Driving licence for those who will drive and the activity voucher (you can bring it on your phone).
What clothing should I wear?
Comfortable clothing, closed shoes, and a jacket. Some routes reach areas above 2,000 meters, where it can be colder.
What is included in the activity?

*Does not include any optional consumptions during the route.
How does the deposit work?
A €500 deposit per vehicle is required before the activity by card. It is automatically released at the end, except in case of damage or incidents, where it may be partially or fully retained depending on the costs incurred.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
The activity takes place even if it rains or is windy. The buggies are equipped (windscreen, doors, roof), so you will be protected. It is only cancelled in case of adverse weather conditions that affect safety.
What happens if I arrive late?
Schedules are strict, as delays affect operations and other participants. In case of delay, the booking will be lost and it will not be possible to carry out the activity.
Can people with disabilities participate?
Yes, provided they are accompanied by their legal guardian and subject to prior assessment by the technical team.
