What is the sled capacity?
The maximum capacity is 2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 3 children under 10 years old, with a maximum total weight of 210 kg per sled.
How does the child pricing work?
Children up to 10 years old have a child rate. From 11 years old (inclusive), the adult rate applies.
Can minors participate without an adult?
No. Minors under 18 must always be accompanied by an adult.
Do children over 11 years old have to choose an adult menu?
No. Although they are considered adults for booking purposes, they can choose a children's menu. It is important to indicate this in the comments section when making the reservation.
Is there a vegetarian menu option?
Vegetarian guests may choose from the restaurant menu according to their preferences and will pay based on what they consume. Please indicate this or any other dietary requirements in the comments section when making the reservation.
Can a child under 3 years old participate?
The minimum age is 3 years old. If the child is close to this age, feel free to contact us.
Do I share the sled with other people?
No. Each booking has its own sled and is not shared with other groups.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed in this activity.
Can I wear ski or snowboard boots?
Yes, although it may affect comfort during the activity.
Is the activity cancelled in bad weather?
No. The activity runs as normal in typical snow, wind or cold conditions. It will only be cancelled if safety is compromised.
How do I access the meeting point in case of snow or bad weather?
In case of snowfall, snow chains or covers are usually required. If you do not have them, you will need to arrange alternative transport. No changes or cancellations will be accepted outside the allowed timeframe for this reason.
How should I plan my arrival time?
During peak seasons, significant traffic delays may occur, especially early in the morning, which can considerably extend travel times (up to 2 hours). We recommend leaving well in advance to arrive on time. If you have any doubts, feel free to contact us.
What happens if I arrive late?
Schedules are strict. In case of delay, the booking will be lost and it will not be possible to carry out the activity or make changes or refunds.
What if I stay in Pallars Sobirà and the Bonaigua pass is closed?
In this case, access must be via the alternative route Sort – Pont de Suert. No cancellations or refunds will be accepted for this reason.
Can I participate if I am pregnant?
Participation is not recommended during pregnancy.
What if I have back problems or other physical conditions?
Participation is not recommended in case of back problems, injuries or other serious conditions. If in doubt, we recommend consulting a doctor beforehand.
Who drives the sled? Can I drive it?
The sled is driven by the musher. Participants sit and enjoy the ride and driving is not allowed.
What breed are the dogs?
They are a mix of mountain dogs, huskies and other breeds adapted to this activity.
Can I interact with the dogs?
Yes, it is possible to interact with the dogs before or after the activity under the supervision of the musher. It is important to do so with respect and following the guide’s instructions, as they are working animals and not domestic pets.
Can I rent clothing or equipment?
Clothing, gloves, goggles and footwear are not available for rent. We recommend coming well equipped with ski or winter clothing, although it is not essential on sunny days or when temperatures are milder.
Do I need to bring a helmet?
No, it is not necessary to bring a helmet.
People with disabilities must be accompanied by their legal guardian and participation will be subject to prior assessment by the technical team.
