ACTIVITY DETAILS
- Level: Beginner. Minimum age: 12 years.
- Duration: Approximately 1.5–2 hours in total, including a 10-minute flight.
- Schedule: To be confirmed depending on weather conditions.
- Approach hike: 35–45 minutes of trekking to the take-off area.
- Elevation gain: 230 metres.
- Take-off location: Guardadèr de Beret.
- Landing location: Gessa.
- Maximum number of participants per booking: Each tandem flight is individual (1 passenger + 1 certified pilot). Only one person can fly per time slot. If you are two or more people wishing to fly on the same day, please contact us in advance to check availability.
- From the meeting point, there is a 30-minute drive to the nearest parking area (transport included), followed by a 10-minute walk to the take-off site. After the 10-minute flight, you will land back near the original meeting point.
- The activity is subject to suitable thermal and weather conditions.
- If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend taking half or one travel sickness tablet (such as Dramamine) approximately one hour before the flight.
WHAT TO BRING
- Long hiking trousers and warm clothing, such as a jacket or lightweight down jacket.
- Hiking boots or sports shoes with good grip for the walk to the take-off point. Footwear should provide good support for your feet and ankles.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen.
- A small bottle of water (500 ml) for the approach hike.
OPTIONAL
- Knee support if you have knee discomfort.
- Lightweight gloves.
PROHIBITED EQUIPMENT
- Flip-flops, sandals or open footwear.
- Shorts.
- Short-sleeved clothing only.
WHO CAN TAKE PART?
- You must not suffer from a fear of heights.
- No previous experience is required, but participants should have a basic level of fitness.
- You must be able to run approximately 100 metres comfortably for take-off.
- Minimum age: 12 years with written permission signed by a parent or legal guardian.
- Minimum age without an accompanying adult: 18 years.
- Weight limits: Minimum 40 kg and maximum 100 kg.
- Restrictions and contraindications: Not suitable for pregnant women, or for people with heart conditions or other serious medical issues. Participants must inform the pilot before the activity of any allergies, phobias or physical limitations. Participation is always subject to the professional pilot's assessment.
