The 7 Lakes Route in Colomèrs – Hike Through a Natural Wonderland in the Aran Valley
Dive into one of the most breathtaking hiking routes in the Pyrenees: the 7 Lakes Route in the spectacular Circ de Colomèrs. Forget postcard beaches—this high-altitude paradise offers crystalline lakes, alpine waterfalls, and awe-inspiring panoramas.
Following a partially circular trail, you’ll journey along the Aiguamòg River and through the heart of the Colomèrs lake zone. The first section leads to the Colomèrs Refuge via a striking waterfall and the scenic Aigües Tòrtes area, passing through the Pletiu dera Montanheta and Lake dera Lòssa.
From the refuge, a shorter route loops through the main lakes—Mòrt, Garguilhs de Jos, Cabidornats, Long, and Clòto. Then, descend via the Clòto variant straight to Lake dera Lòssa. These views are nothing short of iconic.
