DESCRIPTION Kayak descent of intermediate difficulty for adventurers from 10 years old (depending on flow rates).

This kayak descent down the Noguera Pallaresa River starts very close to our activity base located in Llavorsi and ends at La Moleta, 4.5 km away.

At the starting point, the guides will provide us with a thorough explanation of both the equipment (open kayak and paddle), and some initial concepts of turns, flips, rapids, and counter-currents.

The open kayak is the easiest kayak with which we can navigate a whitewater river; we only need to worry about steering it. Its great stability will allow us to paddle while enjoying the incredible landscape that surrounds us.

The first 2 km are calm waters, which will allow us to practice on-site all the recommendations and explanations from our guides. From there, we will encounter the rapid called "La Lavadora" that will test our skills. A class IV rapid.

After this appetizer, there comes a section of calm waters where we can enjoy the scenery and take a dip in the waters of the Noguera Pallaresa to end up in the Moleta area, named because formerly there was a small "moleta" at the mouth of the Romadriu river to produce electricity.

Once there, our transportation will be waiting to pick you up and take you back to the activity center where you can change, take a shower, and enjoy the terrace of our bar while watching the photos of your descent.

Who Can Participate in This Activity?

Anyone in good physical condition.
People who can swim.
Minimum age to participate in the activity: 12 years in spring and 10 in summer.
Minimum age without companions: 15 years.

Professional guides (languages: Catalan, Spanish, French, English).
Technical clothing (neoprene suit, windbreaker jacket, neoprene booties, life jacket, helmet, GoPro mount on the helmet, paddle).
Transport from the activity base to the starting point and from the arrival to the activity base.
Parking (exclusive use for customers).
Liability and accident insurance.
The user will pay for any damage caused to the equipment in case of damage.

CANCELLATIONS

Reservations for up to 5 people:

If you cancel more than 72 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 72 hours before the activity: 50% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 48 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you don't show up on the day of the activity: no refund will be available.

Reservations for 6 people or more:

Date changes are not allowed.
If you cancel less than 20 days before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you cancel less than 30 days before the activity: 75% of the reservation price will be charged.

What happens if it snows, rains, or the weather is bad?

We conduct our activities regardless of the weather, such as rain or snow, except in extreme case.
If the provider cancels the activity due to safety conditions, an alternative date or a refund will be offered.

What if I or a companion falls ill on the day of the activity?

If you become ill on the day of the activity, you will need a medical certificate to justify the non-completion of the activity.
With the medical certificate, we can reschedule your activity or provide a refund.
If you are part of a group and fall ill, the refund only applies to you. If your companion is a minor, they will also be included in the refund.
The rest of the group can continue to enjoy the activity as planned.
